I just wanted to write about what has been working for us (me and my fiance).
We don't win EVERY shoe, but we win more shoes than we lose and we average
6-8 units per shoe we play flat betting on wins and 1,2 for loses.
We score OT count, OBT4L, TB4L and RD1 for each shoe we are interested in
or on shoes that are just starting. Doing all 4 of these actually fits on the score cards
that the casino provides. With both of us doing this we cover more tables
and hop on the one that looks good. If there is more than one table that looks good then
we both play our own tables hoping make more money per hour.
We do this because we are able to see the strength of one system versus another
and can switch over to a different system very easily and then switch back.
Our criteria for a potential shoe (newly starting shoe):
If one system is over +4/+5, the other two are definitely negative, look at TTs and ZZs, and the OT count shows strength
in one direction, then we play that system until we lose 3 in a row. But depending on why we lost 3 in row,
we may stick to the same system because the systems can usually correct itself (ie a streak)...we will just wait until it does.
The other good thing about have both TB4L and OTB4L scored is because if the OT count keeps crossing zero then Matrix
is really easy to do and as Ellis says "it is a cashcow". (I just learned about it a few days ago from a recent posting from Ellis).
This all may seem like a lot of work and may seem like we are overdoing it, but it is really easy and works for us. We have been doing it at the casinos for a few weeks now and we have been able to keep up with the dealing of the cards.
Knowing our casinos' bac tables, having patience, being disciplined, and sometimes being brave with a system definitely play big rolls in our gameplay.
We are still fine tuning our skills, knowledge, and ability to read shoes. We also are working on a better betting progression
to increase our profits on solid shoes. So any input would definitely be appreciated.
Since I have joined this forum (over a month ago), I am still working off of my original bankroll which isn't much since we play green chips, and I play often! This may not sound like much, but most people lose their whole bankroll on one table... I use to have to replenish my bankroll all the time! Thanks to everyone here in BTC!
